the basic principles of the Ecocert standard

Ecocert was the very first certification body to develop standards for “natural and organic cosmetics” and we are proud that each formula within the Little Butterfly London range has been certified organic by Ecocert.

We strongly believe in the high-standards of Ecocert since it reassures parents that our products have been formulated to the highest ethical, organic and safety standards without the risk of containing harmful ingredients.

the basic principles of the Ecocert standard

The absence of GMO, parabens, phenoxyethanol, nanoparticles, silicon, PEG, synthetic perfumes and dyes.

All packaging must be biodegradable or of a recyclable nature.

Ecocert standard imposes that a minimum of 95% of the total ingredients comes from natural origins.

All processes and every entity involved in the production of certified cosmetics undergo a rigorous audit procedure once a year.

Ecocert is against animal testing and only authorises the use of animal by-products that do not directly question animals’ lives such as beeswax and honey.
