Empowering Journey: Interview with Gudrun, Founder of Little Butterfly
Being a female founder in today's world is not an easy feat. It takes hard work, determination, and a lot of passion to make it work. We sat down with Gudrun, the founder of Little Butterfly London, to discuss her experience as a female entrepreneur.
Q: What drives you forward as a female founder?
A: What drives me is new creation and improvement of what we already have. I am currently working on new product developments and it really does spark me up, and I can’t wait to bring this newness to life and share it with everyone!
Q: How do you cope with the stresses that come with running your own business?
A: Very badly 😉 ! Joke aside, I do have my tools when things happen that trigger me and create anxiety and stress. I meditate daily, but I also use other tools like “tapping/EFT” when anxiety takes over and I need some help to bring me back to a neutral state from which I can make better decisions.
Q: How do you balance motherhood and being a business owner?
A: Very badly too 😊 … but doing my best to juggle. There’s always one area in life that is somewhat limping behind, but I now do accept that this will always be the case and try not to feel bad about it and roll with the punches and what needs my priority first.
Q: What is your top tip for anyone reading this?
A: Lead a life led by your heart, your gut instinct, and your passion. Don’t get influenced by others when your instinct tells you otherwise. You are on your own journey, and nobody else has your perspective, so trust your instinct and that you will be supported when you take the big leap. Simply do what gives you joy and try not to question it. You are led by your soul through the feeling of love and passion!
